South Tulsa Speech Resources, LLC is a private speech-language practice serving Tulsa and the surrounding areas specializing in the evaluation and treatment of pediatric speech and language disorders. We provide services to local schools, homes, preschools, or in a home-based office.
Our services include but are not limited to:
We offer brief screenings to identify potential deficits in speech. After the screening is completed, the Speech Language Pathologist will review the results with you and provide recommendations.
We provide evaluations for the purposes of differential diagnosis of Speech and Language disorders. You will receive a completed written evaluation report, complete with formal assessment results, informal observations, background information, and recommendations.
Based on the results of the evaluation, the Speech Language Pathologist will work with you to develop a customized therapy program to address areas of concern. Therapy is always based on current research and driven by the needs and interests of our patients.
Is your school in need of a Speech-Language Pathologist? We don't just provide a SLP, we provide an SLP that is ready to work in the school setting. Our SLPs know the paperwork, procedures, school law, and eligibility requirements. They receive training directly from our owner who has been providing school-based services for over two decades. Districts are given a flat hourly rate, which helps estimate costs for the entire school year. Medicaid reimbursement is available at the request of the district. Our therapists are state and nationally certified therapists.

If you have ever dealt with insurance you know what a battle it can be. All the paperwork can be submitted correctly and services are still not covered. We would rather devote our time and resources to providing services and building relationships with families. We DO accept cash, check, ALL credit cards, and health savings account cards (HSA). Superbills can be provided at parent request.
When we met Brooke, our daughter had just turned 5 years old. She had delayed speech and had been working with various speech therapists since she was about 18 months old. Brooke had concerns about our daughter's lack of progress with so much prior intervention. Upon the initial evaluation, Brooke noticed that she sounded nasal during each visit. She reached out to her circle of professionals and gave us a referral to address the nasal emission. Brooke was spot on in her thought that there may be an underlying issue! We found out our daughter did not have enough tissue to close off her nose when producing speech sounds and required pharyngeal flap surgery. Once the pharyngeal flap was healed, Brooke worked diligently to build and improve her speech; basically retraining her to speak. Our daughter made significant progress and became confident when talking to others outside of the family. We honestly do not know where we would be today without Brooke! She is kind, passionate and very knowledgeable. She thought outside the box when no one else did and patiently worked to repair what seemed broken. We are forever grateful!
Working with Brooke is a pure joy. She is such a blessing to our family. My daughter adores her and looks forward to their sessions. Brooke finds a way to improve their speech while the kids have fun. I can’t recommend her enough and our family will be sad when our time in speech comes to an end.
Brooke Klintworth is a fantastic speech therapist! She works so well with our son. She has many different approaches, toys, and games to keep him engaged. I am grateful for her updates and guidance in his progress. She is easy to communicate with if we have questions. Our son is ALWAYS delighted to see Ms. Brooke! In a year of therapy, he is literally a different kid. I'd highly recommend her to anyone whose child needs an evaluation and treatment for speech-language pathology.
Therapy can take place in the child's home, at the child's daycare, or at our office. Once treatment is established the Speech Language Pathologist works with the family to determine the best environmental fit for the child.
The first step is to schedule an initial consultation or evaluation. During this session, we will conduct a thorough evaluation and develop a personalized treatment plan based on your child's needs and goals.
If you think your child may have a speech or language delay, a good place to start is with your pediatrician, daycare provider, or teacher. They can be very good at gauging your child's speech/language skills based on what other children of the same age are doing. All kids develop differently and excel in different areas. Feel free to contact us and we can provide resources for expected speech/language milestones!
